New for 2010
Salute Page Rewards
The Miss Missouri Board of Directors announces a new, expanded reward system for the 2010 pageant. All contestants will have the opportunity to earn rewards based on Salute Page sales. Salute Pages are vital to support the printing of the nearly-200 page program book, while also showing levels of support for each contestant.
All contestants must have all fees paid and all material/requested information turned in before any rewards will be given. Board members Deb Haag and pageant producer Erin Engelmeyer will determine this eligibility.
Level One Sale of 1-7 pages
1. Contestants will receive $50 for each Salute Page sold.
Level Two Sale of 8 or more pages
1. The four contestants who sell the top amount of pages in this category will earn the right to select her preferred spot on the placement lottery board. (The lottery determines in which group the contestant will compete, and in which place within that group.) This opportunity will take place at Orientation, before the other contestants draw numbers for the remaining places.
2. Each contestant qualifying for this level will have her name entered into a drawing (also to take place at Orientation) for $500, to be used for expenses in attending the Miss America pageant. Two $500 checks will be presented.
