Meet Bridget!
Miss Missouri’s Teen 2024 is Bridget Caldwell from Florissant, MO.
Bridget is a trained dancer, avid athlete, musician who loves playing the drums. As a sophomore at Duchesne High School in St. Charles, Missouri, she is enrolled in all honors classes and maintains a 4.5 GPA. She is currently involved in choir, varsity cheerleading, and the varsity track and golf teams. Last year, she helped take her high school golf team to the state championship for the first time in school history. In 2023, Bridget won the VFW's Voices of Democracy audio essay contest for the 12th District and won 4th place overall in the state out of 700 entries. Throughout Bridget’s involvement in the Miss America Organization, she has earned over $15,000 in scholarships!
During Bridget’s year as Miss Missouri’s Teen, she will promote her Service Initiative, "Bridge the Gap Between Youth and Heroes.” Her mission is to connect more young people with our United States Military members at every phase of their service— veterans, active duty, and reserve members. She is also dedicated to advocating for and volunteering with the organizations that serve those members. Not only does Bridget encourage volunteerism with organizations such as Honor Flight, Wreaths Across America, and the Fisher House Foundation (just to name a few), she also stresses the importance of individually befriending our heroes and listening to their stories. Many veterans are accessible simply by stepping inside your local VA medical center, VFW, or American Legion Posts. Some veterans may be your very own neighbors or family members. Their stories help kids and teens learn about our history far beyond a book, and in turn, they develop empathy and an appreciation for our freedoms.
Bridget would love to attend your events this year as a keynote speaker, hostess, performer, and more. She is excited to be a positive presence in Missouri as she prepares to take on Miss America's Teen 2025 while promoting "Bridge The Gap Between Youth and Heroes” and Miss America's official national platform, the American Heart Association. She enjoys meeting and speaking to Missourians of all ages and is proud to serve as an ambassador for the state in her official capacity as Miss Missouri’s Teen.
