Official Mentoring Program of
Miss Missouri and
Miss Missouri’s Teen

The Show-Me Stars program is an opportunity for girls age 5-12 to be mentored by a Miss Missouri/Miss Missouri’s Teen local titleholder during the Miss Missouri Scholarship Competition in Mexico, MO.

Show-Me Stars get the opportunity to appear on stage each night of competition in evening gown and a special production.

All Show-Me Stars will be expected to wear a white floor-length dress with white shoes for evening gown attire. Additionally, Stars will receive attire to wear (and keep) for their production number. You will be asked to bring basic items such as white shorts, all-white “Keds” style tennis shoes, etc.

As part of your enrollment fee, you will get to engage in a special activity/luncheon with your Local Titleholder/Miss Missouri Delegate “Big Sister” as well as accompany her in the yearly Town Square Meet & Greet Autograph Signing event. Your fee includes two tickets to each night of competition and a program book!

Pairing

Requests for a particular Local Titleholder “Big Sister” will be prioritized by the submission date of complete enrollment (forms, photo, and payment) on a first-come, first-serve basis.

NOTE: We will strive to repeat existing partnerships for mentoring purposes unless a change is requested. If you are new to the program and don’t have a preference, simply check the "no preference" box on your enrollment and our team will strive to match you with someone with similar interest and nearby zip code.

The Show-Me Stars team will send a welcome email in April 2025 with competition and pairing updates.

Pricing

$400.00 Participation Fee: This annual, all-encompassing fee includes a luncheon and activity with your Miss Missouri or Miss Missouri’s Teen local titleholder, a program book, sash, two tickets to each phase of competition during pageant week, photo in the program book, any t-shirt or props needed for performances, Show-Me Star Official Sash and other fun “swag”!

$50.00 Crown Fee: Each star is required to have an official Miss America crown.

New stars MUST order a crown! Returning stars can choose to order a new crown or reuse the crown you purchased in a previous participating year.

A 5% discount will be reimbursed to you if more than one star participates from your family. For this discount to apply, all participants must be registered together, using this form and with one form of payment. The discount will be automatically applied. Performance attire varies year to year depending on the production theme. You may be asked to bring with you khaki shorts, white ankle socks, etc.

Stars and their families will be required to purchase their tickets for after-parties or luncheons should you desire to attend in your free time. You can purchase these additional tickets during the week of the competition. Meals and lodging are also on your own accord.

Sample Rehearsal Schedule - SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Wednesday: Check-in and meeting @ 1:30 pm.

Wednesday: Full Dress Rehearsal 2:30-3:30 pm with Show Time @ 7:30

Thursday: Luncheon/Talent Show: Noon-2 pm; Full Dress Rehearsal 3:00-4:00; Show Time @ 7:30

Friday: 9:30 am-11:00 am Production Number Full Dress Rehearsal; Teen Finals Show Time @ 7:30

Saturday: Meet & Greet Autograph Signing - Arrive @ 8:30 am; Miss Finals Show Time @ 7:00 pm.

Program Updates

Online Enrollment – register, pay, and upload your photo here.

One Time Annual Enrollment Fee - This fee will cover everything you need for the competition and production. Any specific production attire/item will be provided to you at check-in. You may be asked to bring basic items like white shorts, white Keds type shoes, etc.

Town Square Meet & Greet Autograph Signing Event Attire - your sundress! Please no competition-type dresses.

Special Activity Luncheon- All stars will do their special activity with their big sisters on Thursday. There will be no luncheon/activity after the Saturday Town Square event. Lunch will be available for families/guardians to purchase during the activity. Lunch is included for registered Show-Me Stars and their Queens.

Online Enrollment

DEADLINE FOR ENROLLMENT IS MARCH 31ST, 2025.

NOTICE: Please have headshot (JPG) and credit card ready before beginning enrollment. Once you start you must complete, you cannot save and return at a later time.

Notes:

There will be a mandatory parent/guardian meeting after check-in to go over competition details and schedules. Date TBD.

You will be emailed in mid-April with important competition information, pairing updates, attire requests, a tentative schedule, and links to dance videos to start rehearsing.

There will be a mandatory parent meeting before the Star check-in during competition week. Your complementary competition tickets will be distributed to you during that time. Rehearsals are mandatory.
